RP-3200 Wideband RF Record & Playback

Averna RF Record & Playback 3200 Series is designed to meet the needs of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) market, where precision demands a wideband, multi-channel record & playback system.

Now, All GNSS signals in L1, L2 and L5 bands can be processed by 3 record and playback channels. To capture GPS, GLONASS and Galileo signals in addition to regional systems – synchronously and coherently – a total available bandwidth of 150 MHz becomes a requirement.

The RP-3200 can also capture SBAS signals such as Omnistar, Starfire, WAAS or other wireless RF signals such as cellular or video. Building libraries of these real-world recordings allows for repeatable stress testing of relevant conditions necessary to optimize GNSS receiver design.

The record & Playback 3200 Series is built on the proven PXI Express architecture, using high-performance RF modules for recording and playback. The dynamic range of the system exceeds 80dB with 16-bit IQ samples for both A/D and D/A converters. Captured data is streamed, in real-time, to a high-capacity RAID system. The solution is packaged in a ruggedized aluminum chassis, with a pre-amplifier and a DC-to-AC converter for in-vehicle use at 12 volts.
