National Instruments Transport Forum AutoTestCon 2008 SAE Convergence 2008 International Test Conference | Averna bolsters sales team to drive company growth Montreal, QC, January 29, 2008 — Averna, one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America according to the Deloitte 2007 Fast 500, is pleased to welcome Novell Pole Position Award winner Sébastien Zuchowski, Jim Bokos, and Michael Cauterman to the sales team as the company continues to structure itself to propel booming growth. “Our revenue has increased by 256% over the past five years,” said Richard Maltais, vice president of sales and marketing at Averna. “Our revamped sales structure will help us drive the growing demand for our test engineering solutions and services, and the combined fifty years of experience of the new additions will enhance quality of service for our clients.” Director of Sales Sébastien Zuchowski’s career has spanned twelve years in the telecommunications, aerospace and defense, and transportation industries. For the past two years, Mr. Zuchowski has been the partner sales manager for the Quebec business unit of Novell, a company providing enterprise software solutions. In 2007, he won Novell’s prestigious Pole Position Award, recognition given for oustanding leadership. He has previously held the positions of vice president of sales at Integrys Limited and strategic account manager at Kontron America. Quebec, Ottawa, and Maritimes Regional Sales Manager Jim Bokos boasts a twenty-year sales career in telecom, aerospace and defense, and data acquisition. At Genstar Rental Electronics, he handled national and overseas clients including Hydro-Quebec, CAE, Nortel, and DGB Group, which accounted for the company’s largest single order. In the decade he spent at Allan Crawford Associates, a Canadian supplier of high-tech products, Mr. Bokos oversaw the sales training program, achieved 300% sales over quota as an account manager, and was promoted to national sales manager. Ontario Regional Sales Manager Michael Cauterman brings to Averna over twenty years of sales and sales management experience in the telecom, aerospace and defense, energy, and automotive markets. Most recently with JDSU, he oversaw a sales increase of 100% as the national account manager for Bell Canada and for other key accounts in the telecom industry. He has previously held the positions of director of business development at Autodata Solutions (division of Internet Brands, NASDAQ: INET) and regional sales manager for the Ontario branch of EXFO (NASDAQ: EXFO). |
