Montreal, QC, October 17, 2007 – Canadian-based Averna today announced the opening of a branch in Palo Alto, California, an economic focal point of Silicon Valley, to keep up with growing demand for its test engineering services and for Proligent™, a software solution that electronics manufacturers use to simplify and accelerate product testing.

Fortune 1000 companies such as Nortel, Harris Stratex, and Olympus rely on Averna for innovative test solutions. The Palo Alto branch will give Averna better positioning to target other telecommunications and high-tech electronics giants, and to support existing clients in the area.

The Palo Alto branch joins offices in Toronto and Ottawa as part of an expanding network that reports to Montreal headquarters at the renowned Multimedia City complex.
