Averna acquires Advanced Measurements Inc.’s Toronto Division.

Montreal, April 4th, 2006 – Leading Canadian system integrator Averna acquires the Toronto Division of Calgary-based Advanced Measurements Inc. This acquisition now positions Averna as the leading engineering services provider for National Instruments’ products in Toronto. Increasing Averna’s capacity to supply automated test equipment and bench test systems to Toronto’s hi-tech manufacturers.

Over the last few years, the acquired activities generated projects with clients such as Intier Automotive, Tesma, Paccar, BF Goodrich and Omron Dualtec.

“Toronto is a huge manufacturing hub with a high concentration of automotive and aerospace parts manufacturers, as well as a high number of hi-end electronics OEMs, which design new products such as biomedical devices and communication equipments. These companies are looking for a long-term supplier that can help them improve their yield and time to market, while minimizing their test systems’ ownership costs.
