Senior/Intermediate C# Developer and Database Designer (Montreal)

Under the supervision of the architect, the C# developer and database designer is responsible for developing the various persistence layers of the Proligent™ test engineering platform by Averna.

Responsibilities and main tasks:

• To maintain Proligent™’s layers of persistence data
• Estimate programming tasks
• Write quality code
• Conduct unit tests
• Explore various possibilities of object-oriented design
• Work closely with the team to ensure quality programming
• Propose creative ideas for software component design and programming, and integrate them into total architecture
• Use a consistent development method to ensure high quality and effectiveness
• Define objectives with the principal architect and meet these objectives reliably

Qualifications:

• University diploma in a pertinent field
• 8–10 years of development experience
• Solid knowledge of C #: ADO.NET, MSMQ, SOAP, XML, XSD...
• Strong qualifications in SQL Server 2000
• .Net 1.1 environment
• Relevant experience in relational schematics 
• Knowledge of object-oriented architecture
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
• Experience in technical writing
• A professional ability for interpersonal communication
• Desire to increase knowledge through training and self-training
• Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
