C# Software Developer (Montreal)

The C# software developer is responsible for component development of the Proligent™ test engineering platform by Averna, and for the development of client projects.

Responsibilities and main tasks:

• To deliver programming task estimates
• Write quality code
• Perform unit testing
• Explore object-oriented design possibilities
• Work closely with quality control in order to ensure quality work
• Propose creative ideas regarding design and programming tasks
• Use high-quality and efficient development methods consistently
• Define and achieve objectives jointly with the supervisor

Qualifications:

• University degree in software engineering or other related field
• 3 years development in C# : ADO.NET, MSMQ, SOAP, XML, XSD…
• Extensive experience with relational databases, and experience with SQL Server 2000
• Multitier web service design on Windows platform
• Object-oriented programming
• .Net 1.1 environment
• Vibrant team spirit
• Technical writing experience
• Professionalism, strong communicative and interpersonal skills
• Desire for continuous improvement, and to learn through self-training
• Time and priority management skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French
• Willing and able to travel
